In spiritual direction we meet one-on-one for the purpose of seeking God, responding to God, and deepening in relationship with God.

Christian spiritual direction supports growth in a person’s journey of faith in Christ. In a trusting relationship between the spiritual director and the directee, focus is placed on the presence of God in the directee’s life by being attentive to the true director, which is the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual Direction can be helpful for you if:

  • You want to grow in awareness of God in your every day life

  • You are seeking deeper growth in your spiritual life

  • You want to explore your experiences of God

  • You are in a season of transition or discernment in your life

  • You have doubts or questions about God

Christian Spiritual Direction is Trinitarian at its very core. Steeped in a three in one theology of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit, in spiritual direction:

  • We respond to God the Father who seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

  • We focus on Jesus Christ who invites us to abide in Him as our source for life. (John 15:4)

  • We are attentive to the particular work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the individual. (John 14:16-17)

The agenda of Christian spiritual direction is for the directee to know God, to grow in capacity to hear God, and to mature in faith and obedience to God.
